Dear students:
It is with deep regret that I share the sad news that our dear Wing Chun brother Manuel passed away suddenly last week.
A long time member of our school, Manuel was one of our most devoted students who loved our kung fu with all his heart.
Not only was Manuel a dedicated practitioner who reached the highest skill levels in our lineage, but more than anything he enjoyed passing on his skills and knowledge to others. He was regularly seen training some of our younger students and passing on his years of knowledge and experience to the next generation. Such was his devotion and love of Wing Chun.

What is Chi Sao? Key Concepts and the Importance of Bridging

Many Wing Chun practitioners will have heard that the purpose of Chi Sao is to improve your sensitivity.
While sensitivity training is an important element, Chi Sao also has another key function, i.e., what we call “bridging.” By this we mean Chi Sao serves as a bridge between the empty hand forms (the three sets) and real life fighting. In other words, without a bridge, we cannot do real fighting or utilize our empty hand forms.
It’s also important to recognize that Chi Sao is a form of fixed, routine training, and should not be confused with real fighting.
Neither is Gor Sao real fighting, as it is just a more advanced form of Chi Sao. The only way to simulate real fighting in our training is to use protective gear in order to execute full contact and full force punching and kicking. VI Martial Arts Olympics

"Martial Arts Olympics" - is the biggest martial arts events in Europe.
More the 9300 athletes from more then 50 countries represent more the 40 kind of Martial Arts - Karate, Taekwondo, Hapkido, Aikido etc.
Wing Chun was present in Olympics by our school.

The whole world applauds enthusiastically all the films with the participation of the Hollywood actor Robert Downey Jr: «Iron man» and «Iron man 2», «Sherlock Holmes» and «Sherlock Holmes: the Game of shadows».
And just the other day his new blockbuster «the Avengers» is going to be released.
But, surprisingly, besides his career, there is another interesting thing in his life.

Italy IWCO Wing Chun seminar
Another seminar was held in Italy ( Terni ) April 1.
It was an open seminar for different wing chun school.
The seminar was conducted by the Head of IWCO-Italy Simone Sebastiani
